My Kitchen.....

I love to read Kelly's Corner! She is starting this little home tour game. You feature a different room in your house on Fridays! This week we are giving kitchen tours! I live in a very simple, tiny, old house....BUT, this little house is growing on me! We live in this part of our house! This room is special to me! This is where we gather as a family often! So, I wanted to play along!
This is an antique peace that I use as my pantry! I LOVE this peace! It belonged to one of my mom's best friends that has passed away! So, it's special to me!
I know that rooster's are getting old to some, but my rooster has sentimental value as well! My great grandma had eight children and one Christmas she made each of them a bean rooster. Mine is the only one left! So, I think I will always have a rooster hanging in my kitchen!

This is my Grandma's Sunbeam mixer and RED rolling pin! (I love red!) This baby still works like a charm and I use her all the time! I love to cook! I love to bake! I simply live in my kitchen!
This is my favorite milk glass bowl given to me by my friend Kyley!
I love it!
I purchased my fruits of the spirit sign at Canton Trade Days!
Love my sign! Love Canton!
This is where we eat every meal!

This is going from kitchen into living room!
Walking in from outside!

Nothing fancy, but I LOVE this room!
Come on girls.....PLAY ALONG!
This Friday is living rooms!
Go visit Kelly!
(I know this is my second post in one day! Please don't think I'm a looser! I've actually been pretty productive today! I've unpacked, washed all clothes, straightened and waiting for dinner to come out of the oven!)

wow! I have a mixer just like that..lol..but mine is yellow and brown..it was the hubby's great-uncles..and he gave it to us..it still works but it is quite ugly so we keep it in the cabinet..I hope to get a new one soon..but I'll never get rid of that one!

I have always wondered about your bean rooster, I just think it's so neat! I think your kitchen, like the rest of your "too small" house, is cute and cozy.

i am way jealous of that mixer..reminds me of my mom's. (who would probably be older than your grandma if she were still alive) i loved the tour and the homey nature of your kitchen..it's not the Layout. it's the Love!
