Starting new things!!!!

It looks like I'm going to have some time to myself this week! So, I went to Netflix and ordered chick flicks and ran by the Christian book store to buy The Shack! They didn't have it, but ordered it for me and it will be here SOON! I love our little Christian bookstore! Thanks Debbie! I have heard wonderful things about this book...I can't wait! I haven't read a book in quite awhile!
The Shack.....
Mackenzie Allen Philips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his "Great Sadness," Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change Mack's world forever. In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant "The Shack" wrestles with the timeless question, "Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain?" The answers Mack gets will astound you and perhaps transform you as much as it did him. You'll want everyone you know to read this book! « lessmore »

Beth Moore's study, Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy shows how individuals can live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society. Join Beth in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures—to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats—today's believers face many of the same trials.

I'm sooo excited about our new Beth Moore bible study starting at church tonight! If you live close, you need to join us! You do not have to be a "FBC member" to be apart of Bible study! If you have done this study before, I would love to know what you thought of it! Beth Moore definitely challenges me because I'm slow like that, but I'm looking forward to the challenge!

The Daniel study is absolutely AMAZING! It is by far my most favorite study I have done of Beth's and I have done a lot. If you are interested in end time stuff and prophesy, you will love it. It really showed me how much the Word builds on each other, specifically with prophesy. I actually would love to go back through it again. And it is the only Beth Moore study I have completed from beginning to end. It is deep, but stick with it. You will be blessed!

Thanks Lisa! That is good to know! I love Beth Moore, but I do have to admit that she intimidates me sometimes! She gets in over my head and I get frusterated! Feel stupid...feel like a looser! Sometimes it's hard for me to finish my homework and I poop out...quite!!!! I hope that I have the same experience as you did!
