Happy 2010!!!!!

We brought the new year in with special friends!
Special...HA!
We ate, played, laughed, cried and ate some more!
It was a good evening!!
We love to play 31 when we gather!
We are pretty competitive girls!

It was so much fun sharing my little cabbages on New Years Day!
So, how do you cook your cabbage???
(Don't make fun! Remember, I'm not a food photographer!)
What are your New Year's traditions?
I love cooking up this casserole, cabbage and some cornbread!!!
Yumm~O!!!!
BLACK~EYED PEA CASSEROLE
INGREDIENTS :
1 LB. GROUND BEEF ~ SEASONED AND DRAINED
(I SEASON W/ SALT, PEPPER AND GARLIC)
2 CANS BLACK~EYED PEAS WITH JALAPENOS
1 CAN DICED TOMATOES
(TONIGHT I USED 2 CANS OF SWEET ONION TOMATOES.)
1 BOIL-IN-A-BAG RICE
2 CUPS CHEESE
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350.
COOK MEAT, SEASON AND DRAIN.
ADD PEAS, TOMATOES, RICE AND 1 CUP CHEESE.
STIR.
PLACE IN A GREASE 9x13 PYREX.
SPRINKLE REMAINING CHEESE.
COOK FOR 20 MIN.
ENJOY!!!!
