Frozen Peas....
It's a Frozen Pea kind of weekend around our home! Yes... It's official... no more babies around the Rose household! Auburn is recooperating from his little procedure tonight! A few Vicoden and a nice bag of frozen peas and we are good to go! He has really been a trooper, but I think the anesthetic is wearing off! So... we shall see! Pray that he is back to normal very soon! On the way to Bryan today, we called Auburn's mom and she was really sad about the procedure. She wants a baby girl. That crazy woman was telling Auburn to pull over at a road side park. Then my mom got all sad on us too! I had alittle cry and then I came back to my senses! We have our hands FULL with two boys! We aren't getting any younger around here either! Girls cost to much money... and we aren't guaranteed a girl at all! I would be the one with three boys! So, we are blessed to have two healthy, handsome, wonderful sons! Going to check on the "privates"! Good night!

IT"S A BOY!!!!!!
Yes... It's another BOY!!!!!!! My sister found out today that we will be adding yet another BOY to our family in late May or early June. Everybody is healthy and doing better. Lisa was very sick in the beginning, but she is doing better. Only sick in the evenings and not 24/7! We just know that Coy is going to end up with the little girls someday! Oh well! We love our little boys!

I often wonder what people do without Christ in their lives on a daily basis, but especially when hardships come! We are so thankful that Christ had seen us through the hard times this year and he is ultimately the author of our future! We look forward to 2008 and everything that God has in store for us!

Happy New Year!!!! Welcome 2008!!!
Cherie, Saundra, Pam, Carrie, Kathy
We brought in the new year with several of our closest friends at my parents! We always love getting together with friends, fireworks, homemade eggnog, and a good game of Chickenfoot! Woo-Hoo! I won - which made it even better! The fireworks show was very interesting! The guys set the pasture on fire. I have never seen some of them move that fast before! Very funny! We hope that 2008 is filled with many blessings for you and your family! Did you eat your cabbage and black eyed peas? Happy New Year!

Congratulations Garet!
Fifth grade has been a horrible struggle for us this year! Math is kicking our tails! But, Garet made the UIL team. He competed in oral reading and received third place! Drama, Drama, Drama!!!! He gets it honestly! We were very proud of this big accomplishment! Funny story.... This was Garet's first time to compete in anything. When the judges came into Garet's room to announce who would be going on to the finals, they announced Garet's name and another little girl from another school. When the judge left the room, Garet looked at the little girl and said, "You may as well pack your bags and go home!" This is not Garet's character at all! He is my sensitive child and he doesn't have a "mean" bone in his body! The little girl went crying to her coach, the coach went to the principal and I was crushed! I've raised my kids better than that! (So I thought!) So, to make a long story short... we learned alot from this experience! Think before you speak , good sportsmanship and never talk to a lady that way again!
