A GREAT problem to have!!!

Just a quick update on our PURSE PARTY!!!!!

I just received a message from a volunteer! She says that there has been such an outpouring of love from the United States and they are trying to count the stock of purses that they currently have! She says they have lots of preparing to do! Isn't that great? She said that the Haitian ladies were getting their sewing machines out today and getting busy! They have lots of orders to fill! Yeah...there is HOPE!!!!

So, Denise and I will keep you posted! We will give you details as soon as we get them!

Son ~ "Mom, do you have Kyndall's phone #?"

Me ~ "Um...no."

Son ~ "Mom, do you have Kyndall's mom's phone #?"

Me ~ "Honey, if I had Kyndall's mom's phone # then I would have Kyndall's phone #! hehe"

Me ~ "Why do you need Kyndall's phone #?"

Son ~ "Mom, I'm getting married!"

Me ~ (gasp)...."WHAT??? To who???"

Son ~ "To Kyndall! We are going to be husband and life!"

Me ~ "Husband and what?"

Son ~ "Husband and life....you know, like you and daddy!"

Me ~ (sigh) "I can't wait until you get married, but you have to wait 30 yrs."

So innocent and precious....right now!

I may be in trouble later!

A post about a PURSE PARTY!!!!!

The best part about this purse party is that you are supporting Haitian women and their sweet families just by purchasing one of their handmade purses! By purchasing one of the purses you could be supporting a woman for 5 months! My heart has been so heavy for Haiti! I would give anything to drop everything here and go to Haiti and help! BUT, since I faint at the site of PUKE.....I don't think they need me over there! I'm definitely NOT qualified!!!! I would love to adopt a Haitian kiddo, but that is not practical for my family right now either!!!! I want to do something and this is it!!!!

I need to go to confession......and I'm not Catholic!

This is what I look like when someone pukes in my house!

I turn into a puke paranoid parent!

I can't help it......I'm a FREAK!!!!

I immediately break out into a cold sweat! If it's not 3 am, I'm out the door to Walmart to "stock up" on puking products!!!

Lysol is running down the walls of my house!

I start thinking about what I can feed the family just in case we all start dropping like flies!

This is NOT normal!!!

My oldest is laughing at me inbetween pukes!

This is not a laughing matter!

My friend, Saundra, just shared this blog with me and I'm lovin it! I needed some motivation....some new ideas!!!

I didn't make any new year's resolutions because I'm not very good at keeping them and then I get all discouraged!!!

I've done Weight Watcher's in the past and had great success. Then I got too big for my britches (literally) and stopped following the program. Need less to say, I've gained some back! I need to loose 15 pnd. and that seems like sooooo much!I just want loosing weight to be EASY!!!!

I just want my high school body back! You know....the pre~baby bod????

I'm making Gina's baked Parmesan chicken tonight!

My picky little eaters will be thrilled! No turkey, stuffing, black~eyed peas, cabbage...ha!

I love cooking up this casserole, cabbage and some cornbread!!!

Yumm~O!!!!

BLACK~EYED PEA CASSEROLE

INGREDIENTS :

1 LB. GROUND BEEF ~ SEASONED AND DRAINED

(I SEASON W/ SALT, PEPPER AND GARLIC)

2 CANS BLACK~EYED PEAS WITH JALAPENOS

1 CAN DICED TOMATOES

(TONIGHT I USED 2 CANS OF SWEET ONION TOMATOES.)

1 BOIL-IN-A-BAG RICE

2 CUPS CHEESE

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350.

COOK MEAT, SEASON AND DRAIN.

ADD PEAS, TOMATOES, RICE AND 1 CUP CHEESE.

STIR.

PLACE IN A GREASE 9x13 PYREX.

SPRINKLE REMAINING CHEESE.

COOK FOR 20 MIN.

ENJOY!!!!
