I didn't know that there was such a thing!

My brother's girlfriend, Stephanie, told us about these!

They are mildew resistant!!!

No more bleaching the plastic shower liner or throwing it away!

The Days of the South....

This weekend we took the boys to the Civil War reenactment in town.

We had a great history lesson!

(Actually, I learned that I do NOT know that much about the Civil War! I wasn't very good in History!)

I felt like I was visiting one of my favorite scenes in Sweet Home Alabama!

This man was cookin up something good. He didn't invite us to stay for dinner...he barely said "Hello." Old fart!

We visited with a man who had a really big gun! He was VERY friendly and VERY talkative!

We learned ALL about ammunition and gun powder and sharp things that you attach to the end of the gun. You know, boy stuff!!! Blook, guts and killin!

I found myself shopping for a new outfit!

We watched a blacksmith make some tools! This was very interesting!

I missed my first meeting!

Weigh in is at 5:00 and the meeting starts at 5:30.

I thought weigh in was at 5:30 and the meeting at 6:00.

I ran in at 5:55 and everyone was gone except the little ladies cleaning up!

Darn!!!

I missed it and I really didn't do it on purpose...I promise!!!

One more week to indulge!!!

Weight Watchers....Blah...Blah...Blah!!!!

OK people....back to Weight Watchers I go!!!

This is soooooo depressing! I can't believe I'm having to go back!

Back in 2004, after I had Peyton I joined WW and had great success! I lost 28 pnds. and kept it off for 2 yrs. I'm not sure what has happened the past 2 yrs. Half of my weight has slowly crept back on!

You would never know that my skinny little butt was a size 0 in high school! I had to buy little girl Rockies...no kidding! (Yes, I wore Rockies back in the day! I had every color!) What happened?

So, Monday night I went and bought my last 1/2 gallon of Blue Bell Mint Chocolate Chip

icecream and it's all gone! I savored every bite! I've been eating it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!!

Once I join...I'm serious!!!

Boo~Hoo!!!

That means no firey hot Cheetos!!!

I'm going to have withdrawals!!!

I usually pout for the first 2 wks. and then I'm good!!!

So...bear with me!

Off to my first meeting and to weigh in!!

A Sonic Blessing!

I have a sweet little story to share with you.
Today I treated the boys to Sonic drinks after school.
I pull up to pay and the little drive thru girl says....
"The lady in front of you bought your drinks. She said she didn't know you...she just wanted to bless you today."
How cool is that?
There really are good people in this crazy world.
It was a great lesson for all of us!
A lesson of giving, putting others first & showing God's love!
On the way home, we prayed that God would BLESS that thoughtful lady!
I can't wait to pass the blessing on and bless someone with Sonic drinks!
It was such a HAPPY HOUR!!!!

Rebound that basketball!!!

This is our first season for playing and coaching Upwards basketball.

My husband says it is VERY difficult teaching 4 ADHD five yr.old boys how to play basketball. (This is coming from an ADHD coach!)

This past Saturday was VERY comical! Watching Auburn chase the boys around trying to tell them what to do. Little boys running of the court during the game to give mom a kiss or get a drink of water! Little boys trying to dribble and the ball gets the best of them! At one point, I was yelling....Defense Peyton! The only problem was that our team was Offense!!! I thought my lovely husband was going to KILL me or ask me to leave! I shut up and let him coach!

He ended the game by saying, " I'm off to get the whiskey!"

Peyton says his job in the game is to guard!

Forget dribbling and shooting....he seriously thinks his main job is to GUARD only!

It's sooooo funny!!!

We have LOTS of learning to do!

What a NIGHT!!!!!

Last night, I was fortunate enough to have a girl night during the Superbowl!!!

I have no interest in football...what so eva!!!

I think if I understood it, it would be a different story!

You would never know that I dated the star football player all through HS because I'm CLUELESS!!!

So, Brandy and I took Denise to Olive Garden and the movies for her BIRTHDAY!!!

I don't know why we thought this was so funny....BUT, it was!!!

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

Good thing we had the theater to ourselves!

10:30 ~ We arrive home safely from College Station.

11:15 ~ Climb into bed. It's thundering and lightening! My favorite kind of sleeping weather!

I LOVE stormy nights!

12:00 ~ Phone rings and my lineman husband gets called out into the storm.

12:00 ~ 3:00 Lots of wind, rain, hail, lightening, THUNDERING and more wind!!!

(No sleeping through this storm!)

3:00 ~ Husband comes back to bed!

3:15 ~ Peyton pees in the bed.

3:30 ~ Get Peyton back in bed.

3:35 ~ Back to bed for me.

4:00 ~ Peyton comes to my side of the bed and says, "Mom, I'm going to turn my light on and play quietly. Is that OK?" My response, "NO!!! It's nighttime! Go back to bed!"

4:15 ~ Peyton is singing and having a party!

4:30 ~ Peyton is talking to his animals! (You've gotta be kidding me!)

5:30 ~ Peyton comes back in to ask if he can get up and play quietly!!! "I DON'T CARE....JUST LET ME SLEEP FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!!!"

5:40 ~ Alarm clock goes off for Auburn.

6:00 ~ Auburn leaves for work!

6:15 ish ~ I fall asleep!

6:40 ~ Alarm!!! Time to wake up!
