Here's some SOUL FOOD for ya.......

I know that many of you follow The Hendricks Family over at Sit A Spell. If you don't....YOU SHOULD!!! They just moved their family of 6 to Haiti! (It makes my move just 3 houses down seem so small, petty and just stupid! ha) Their courage, faith and determination just blow me away!!! The girl can write....in every post she has me laughing until my side hurts, sobbing, snotting and thinking!
You should visit her!
and pray for their journey!

Beth Moore's study, Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent, is an in-depth look at 15 Psalms. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope, and joy, these 15 psalms model how study participants can voice their own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Explore the major feasts of Israel and journey with Beth through Psalms 120-134 in this 7-session study. Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God.

To Die For Blueberry Muffin.......

I have missed cooking/baking so much this summer!!!
We have been through a lot and we are living out of boxes!!!
Doesn't make it easy to bake!
I came across this recipe and started unloading boxes to try it...ha!!!
What a great recipe!!!
You should try it for your family this weekend!!
Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with muffin liners.
Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, 3/4 cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Place vegetable oil into a 1 cup measuring cup; add the egg and enough milk to fill the cup. Mix this with flour mixture. Fold in blueberries. Fill muffin cups right to the top, and sprinkle with crumb topping mixture.
To Make Crumb Topping: Mix together 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1/4 cup butter, and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Mix with fork, and sprinkle over muffins before baking.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until done.

Shop 4 Lease....

Hey Family and Friends.....
I'm needing another favor...ha!
Since our house sold in one week by spreading the word via email...I thought, "What the heck...we will give this another try!" Thank you sweet Julie!!!

If you are in or around our area, we have a large SHOP for lease!
This shop was owned by Buck Bailey and was the electric co. back in the 80's &90's. They
officed out of this building for 25 yrs. and had over 50 employees. With all of that said, the building has great potential and is just waiting for the right person to come along!

The large bay is 30X32 with two full bay doors.
There are two smaller bays that are 20X32.
We actually have the potential to lease all of it or just some of it. It has 3 different sections!
There is plenty of office space, a small kitchen and bathroom.
There is tons of room outside to move trucks or equipment around.
The shop has it's own driveway with locked gate!
There will also be 4 full~time security officers on duty at all time with no extra charge...ha!
I may even occasionally bake goodies for ya!

If you are interested or know of anyone who may be, please email me carrieboog@yahoo.com.
There are zoning laws and we can discuss that with you when you call.
It's just really important to us who we lease to. Whoever it is will be on our property and around our boys. We just know that God has the right person with the right business!
Thanks so much for getting the word out and keeping us in mind!
