Saying Good~Bye is hard to do.....

Well, the 2010 Madison Co. Fair has come to an end! It has been an exhausting, but fun week! We do NOT want to go back to school on Monday! Anyone know how many days until summer break?
Pey was a great supporter for his brother this morning!
That college fund grew a little more this year and for that.....Mama is grateful!!
We had to say Good~Bye to our rabbits this afternoon!
It's somewhat bitter sweet! Ha!
Off to prepare for an early Easter celebration at Church tomorrow!
It's a beautiful day....hope you are enjoying it!

Here comes Peter Cottontail!

Wed. Garet showed his rabbits!
We did better than we thought, but not good enough! We were 23 out of 43. The first 20 pins go to the Premium Sale! Darn! Oh well....we are still learning!
Anxiously awaiting results!
The judge this year was great about explaining! We need all of the help we can get!
He did look like the Mad Scientist though!
We were hoping the chip laying in front of our pin meant we were Grand Champion! Ha...just kiddin!
Maybe next year!
If you are local, come on out and support our kiddos!
Buyers dinner sponsored by MidSouth is tonight at 5:00.
Premium Sale is after dinner and the freezer sale is tomorrow at 10:00!
Hope to see ya out there!

Fabulous Fair Time!

Garet getting ready for our food auction at our county fair!
We went simple this year, but I think it turned out cute! I loved the white washed garden bucket I found! Our pineapple preserves, grass and afew Easter eggs looked great in it!
I love what our fair President said tonight! I love America! Where kids work hard and learn new things! Where Mom's and Daddy's and Grandparents help their kids! Where communities come together to better their kids futures!
Peyton participated in the chicken stomp this year! Poor baby chicks!

I think he ended up with 3! They went to our neighbors house! He will have to visit them there! Maybe we will get some yard eggs out of it! Ha!
Mimi and Garet are the same size! Weird!
Thanks for your support Mimi and Aunt Freida! We love you sooooooo much!

A big "thank you" to Jarrett's Meat Service! You are amazing! Thanks for your support!
Congrats to Jana on her brown sugar pound cake! I love you...even if you DID beat me!!!!
It's nice to have friendly competition!
Just wanted to post real quick for my sweet family who check my blog regularly!
It's going to be an early morning!
Rabbit time!
Wish us luck!
XOXO!!!

Happy Spring Break!!!!

Fri. was a beautiful day!! I thought it was the perfect day for a fire, hotdogs and friends out at the land!
It was very last minute, but sometimes last minute plans are the best plans!
We ended up having a crew! (my camera died...boo!) The big kids had fun playing night tag!
The little kids were found laying in the back of a truck listening to an Ipod and watching the stars! So cute!
I learned alot about girls and their baby dolls! Dolls have changed over the yrs. This baby cries, talks, eats, wets and POOPS!!!! And look at that fancy stroller with a cup holder! Cracks me up!
The babies even seemed to enjoy the outdoors!
We will have to do this again soon!
Campfires have changed too! Trivia on the Iphone anyone?
Happy Spring Break everyone!
It's FAIR week! Here are our cute bunnies! They are so chubby! Check in and judging is Wed. morning!
Wish us LUCK!!!!!!

Ribbons, Ribbons and more Ribbons....

It has been a busy weekend and I'm pooped!!!
It's fair time and we have been busy in the kitchen! Peyton enjoyed pretending he was Ratatouille and Garet learned lots about canning! I'm so glad that my kids are apart of such great programs in our community! Programs that teach them life lessons! Programs that teach them about winning, loosing, college funds, following directions, etc.
Peyton wasn't too happy about his green participant ribbons! You win some and you loose some! He learned a lesson today!
Garet did pretty good! Two 1st place ribbons, a 2nd place and a 5th place! He will be selling his pineapple preserves at the auction on March 23!
It's been a fun day, but I'm so glad that it is over!
Night! Night!
